Larmer Tree Final Day welcome KT Tunstall and Bellowhead

What a day! The final day of Larmer Tree Festival 2013 kicked off for us with the carnival procession. This is where all the people that attended classes and fun events got to show of what they had been making and doing

The first act on stage for us was KT Tunstall, who put together a great set made up of new work and old favourites.

The evening was topped of by a high energy, high volume set by the amazing Bellowhead. This Salisbury photographer had never seen Bellowhead but had been told they were a brilliant, fun, fold group. WOW! WOW! WOW! very much not disappointed. One of the highlights of the week for us, and they could have kept going all night.

We will certainly be looking for the name Bellowhead again. They had the crowd singing, dancing and certainly sent them home very happy.

A brilliant event that we will be looking forward too next year with great anticipation. Well done to everyone who took part in whatever way.

Richard Thompson Electric Trio and Dexys at the Larmer Tree Festival

We were treat to 2 exceptional performances by 2 very talented bands last night on the main stage. First up was the Richard Thompson Electric Trio who played some of their good old rock , new and old. This is John's type of music and he really enjoyed this set.

Second up was good old favourite Dexys. They played a lot of their new stuff with a good old favourite in GENO, although in a less than familiar way. The big shame of this set was that although the crowd were chanting for them to perform their classic hit COME ON EILEEN they left the stage without giving the crowd the pleasure of hearing it again. The crowd voiced their disappointment at the stage manager as he announced that there were no more acts on the main stage.

A shame and not what you want to remember at the end of a great night of music.
